Man pawned games console
A five-month jail sentence was imposed on a man who stole a games console and pawned it.
Corey McMullan (22), of Rockmills pleaded guilty to the theft on August 2, of a Playstation 3, worth £200, taken from the TV room in the Methodist Mission. He took then pawned it for £30.
Paddy MacDermott defending, said it was a mean offence. His client received £30 but he said somebody must be making a substantial profit along the way.
Deputy District Judge Sean O’Hare jailed McMullan for five months.
